About Jeremy

Jeremy Firkins is the founder of JF Homes, a company shaped by his Iowa roots (Go Hawkeyes!) and grounded in the values of hard work, faith, and family. Growing up with three brothers, Jeremy developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for teamwork—qualities that continue to define how he leads today.

He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Northern Iowa, giving him a unique ability to bridge the gap between construction and smart investment strategy.

With over 15 years of hands-on construction experience, Jeremy has built a reputation for delivering quality homes and well-executed projects. While he has extensive experience in investment properties—including duplexes, triplexes, and multifamily builds—he is equally passionate about helping clients bring their vision to life through affordable custom homes and additions. His goal is simple: build spaces that serve people well while also creating lasting value.

Outside of work, Jeremy is a devoted husband to his wife Kelly and a proud father of four (plus two energetic dogs). When he’s not on-site or reviewing plans, you’ll find him in the gym, spending time with family, outdoors shooting, or staying grounded in his faith.
